Ina Corinne Smith Miller of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 16, 2023, in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 92. She was born December 18, 1930, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Arvy Richard and Linnie Pearl Geurin Smith. She married William Russell Miller on January 20, 1952, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The couple was fortunate to be able to travel all around the world on mission trips. Ina taught at both Cotter and Mountain Home schools as well as working part time at Miller Oil Company. Ina lived in Mountain Home since moving there in 1962. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mountain Home and very involved in choir and WMU Women's Missionary Union. Ina was part of a large family and cherished all of her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. She recently moved to Springdale, Arkansas, to be closer to her daughter, Carol.
Ina is survived by her daughter, Carol (Rip) Gresham of Springdale, AR; son, Ray Miller of Harrison, AR; granddaughter, Natalie Nix of Jonesboro, AR; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 9:30 am until service time, at First Baptist Church in Mountain Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 10:00 am, with Pastor Tad Rogers officiating. A Private Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
