Funeral Services for Ina Weatherford of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jack Jefferson officiating. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home. Ina passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Care Manor Nursing Center, at the age of 82. Ina was born May 19, 1929 in Oakland, AR, the daughter Elmer Floyd and Millie Louise Bayless Hightower. She worked at Baxter Lab in Mountain Home. Ina is survived by 3 sons - Don (Machille) Weatherford, of Fairview, AR Stephan Weatherford of Gainesville, MO, Bill Weatherford, of Branson, MO; 5 daughters, Lorna Weatherford of Gassville, AR, Mellissa (Daniel) Carrigan of San Antonio, TX, Ina (David) LaCaze, of Scottsville, Ky, Deborah Ann Winnett, of Mountain Home, Lisa (Mike) Mason, of Jordan, AR; 2 sisters, June (Kenneth) Perry, of Mountain Home, AR, Norma (Richard) Strickland, of St. Louis, Mo; brother, James (Betty) Hightower, of Oceanside, CA, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Loren Dean Hightower, and 3 sons, Paul, Leonard, and David. Burial will be in the Promise Land Cemetery with Stephan Gessner, Sam Mason, Christopher Carrigan, Corey Weatherford, Jamie Ott, and Larry Strickland as pallbearers.
