Irene Evers

Irene Eleanor Evers was born October 19, 1909 in Kewaunee, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Thomas W. and Emma Johnson Nelson. She married Emil J. Evers on August 19, 1950 in Harvard, Illinois. She was employed as a bookkeeper with Hummel-Dowing Milk in Wisconsin. She moved to Lakeview, Arkansas from Harvard, Illinois in 1975. She was a member of Lakeview Community Club, Grover Township Fire Auxialliary, the Council of Evangelism and Christ By the Lake Lutheran Church. Irene Eleanor Evers passed away on July 15, 2005, at the age of 95 years, 8 months and 26 days. Survivors: One brother, Lloyd Nelson of Hampton Bay, New York and several nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: Parents, two sisters and one brother Funeral: Sunday, August 7, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at Christ By the Lake Lutheran Church with Reverend David Mattson officiating. Burial: Blossomburg Cemetery in Fish Creek, Wisconsin
