Irene McDougald

Irene McDougald was born March 9, 1924, at Bentonville, AR to Johnnie Earl and Anna Lynn Rhodes. She married James Lamar McDougald on September 23, 1944 at Raymondville, TX. Mrs. McDougald lived in Kingsville, TX before moving to Mountain Home in 2006. She was a member of Retama Park Baptist Church in Kingsville, TX. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved sewing, needlework, and working in her yard. Survivors: She is survived by her son, Jerry (Mary Lou) McDougald, of Port Angeles, Washington, daughter, Faye (Dennis) Kraus, of Mountain Home, brother, Eldon Lynn (Gladys) Rhodes, of Kerrville, TX, 3 sisters, Nadine Marshall, of Edinburg, TX, Pauline Pipkin, of Brea, CA, Wanda (Lou) Hoofard, of San Antonio, TX, 4 grandchildren, Stephanie (Kevin) Sullivan, of Hong Kong, Sandra LeJeaune, of Baton Rouge, LA, Jessica McDougald, of Idaho, Tara McDougald, of California, and 3 great-grandchildren, Stefany, Roger, and William. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Donald Ray. Funeral: Graveside services for Irene R. McDougald of Mountain Home will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday January 27, 2007 at Bennett Cemetery in Groveton, TX with Reverend Lewis Jones officiating. Mrs. McDougald died Sunday January 21, 2007 at Care Manor Nursing Home. She was 82. Burial: Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery, Groveton, TX.
