Irma Leota Brewer

A Funeral Service for Irma Leota Brewer of Yellville, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Summit, Arkansas, with Reverend Rick Pyron officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2019, from 10:00 am until service time, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Summit, Arkansas. Graveside Services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, December 30, 2019, at the Sexton Cemetery in Savannah, Missouri.

Irma passed away December 24, 2019, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. She was born March 24, 1935, in Benton County, Missouri, the daughter of Henry Adam and Mamie Louise Elliott Rottman. She was the sixth of seven children. In 1952, she met and married Donaldee Brewer. Together, they had five children, Steven Dale, Mickel Wayne, Chris Lane, Brent Scott, and Dawn Marie Aguirre. She also leaves seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Irma's career was that of a home maker, in which she excelled. She never complained when Don went to a job interview and came home saying "I got the job and we are moving," which he did several times in the first several years. Irma was very outgoing and made friends easily, she was active in our churches, helping with either young children or teaching young boys Sunday school classes. She enjoyed traveling to the National Parks in almost every state. She loved to listen to music, day and night.

She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, and her son, Steven Dale Brewer.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Yellville.
