Irwauna Haun

Irwana W. "Pud" Haun was born Saturday, January 30, 1926 in Jackesboro, Texas, the daughter of Marion C. and Bertha Garner Welch. She married Leland Haun on March 24, 1946 at Paragould, Arkansas. She graduated from ASU, Jonesboro and taught 35 years in high schools across Arkansas. "Pud" lived in Arkansas since 1928 moving from Jackesboro, Texas. Irwauna Haun died Thursday, March 5, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 83. Survivors: 3 sons, Edward (Sylvia) Haun of Mountain Home, AR, Stanley (Debra) Haun of Gassville, AR, and Darryl (Lucy) Haun of Mountain Home, AR, 1 daughter, Vanessa Haun of Mountain Home, AR, 5 grandchildren, 1 brother, Maurice (Clarene) Welch of Paragould, AR, 4 sisters, Talmadge Billingsley of Jonesboro, AR, Marion (Thaddeus) Mangrum of Jonesboro, AR, Lenora (Billy Joe) Smith of Paragould, AR and June (Charles) Harvill of Paragould, AR. Preceded in Death by: her parents, 1 daughter, Yvette, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation: 12:00 P.M. until service time Funeral: Funeral services for Irwauna W. "Pud" Haun of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 9, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. John Shadowens officiating.
