Memorial services for Isabella "Belle" McKinnis of Mountain Home, AR, will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Twin Lakes Baptist Church, with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating.
Belle died Monday, December 21, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 94. She was born Sunday, February 14, 1915 in Holden, Missouri, daughter of George Washington and Ruth Lillian Moriss McCormick. She married Lester Eugene Mckinnis on July 10, 1936 at Clayton, Missouri and was a beautician the owner of Belle's Beauty Salon. Belle lived in Mountain Home since 1969 moving from St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of Twin lakes Baptist Church and very active with the Senior Saints, a passionate St. Louis Cardinal Fan and raised beautiful roses. She was the best cook in the 4 state area and a skilled seamstress from seat covers to wedding dresses.
Belle McKinnis is survived by her son, Jerry McKinnis of Flippin, AR, daughter, Judy Rhine of Little Rock, AR, 7 grandchildren, Shannon, Mark (Kathy), Mike (Pam), and Matt (Sheila) McKinnis, Rick (Sherry), Brian Mason and Jeri (Sondra) Rhine and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister. Memorials may be made to the Twin Lakes Baptist Church.
