J.D. Fleeman of Gamaliel, Arkansas died June 29, 2008 at Hospice House at the age of 78. He was born February 24, 1930 the son of Marvin Jackson and Annie May Miller Fleeman. He married Helen Scarbrough on August 31, 1955 at Hernando, Mississippi and was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea. He retired as a Maintenance Mechanic at VisKase in Osceola, Arkansas. Survivors: He is survived by his wife Helen Freeman, son Ronnie Davis of Norfork, AR, daughter, Lisa (David) Stutts, Gamaliel, AR, and 2 grandchildren, Sarah (Richard)Bowden and Gavin Stutts. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 frother and 1 sister. Visitation: Visitation will be at the Funeral Home, 5-8 P.M. Monday June 30, 2008. Funeral: Funeral services will be at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials: Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Active Bearers: Pallbearers are Myron Mattingly, Rhett McManigell, Bill McMeecham, Cameron Davis, Dr. Kevin Adkins, and Carl Counts. Alternates are Nick Stutts, Jim Mills and Bobby Scott.
