Jack Crawford

Jack Abner Crawford was born August 6, 1918 in Joiner, Arkansas. He was the son of Luther and Mae Etta Layton Crawford. He married Iona M. Artist on June 18, 1942 in San Francisco, California. He was a civil service office machinery technician and a United States Army veteran of World War II. He lived in Pocahontas, Arkansas prior to moving to Bull Shoals, Arkansas in 1983. Mr. Crawford was of the Methodist faith. Jack Abner Crawford passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on May 22, 2005, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 6 days. Survivors: Daughter, Jackie Mae (Harvey) Cunningham of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Angie Sanders of Cabot, Arkansas, and Barbara (Jimmy) Bean of Mountain Home, Arkansas and seven great-grandchildren Preceded in Death by: Parents, wife, one brother and two sisters Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals with Dr. Fred Taylor officiating Burial: Newton Flat Cemetery, Bull Shoals Memorials: Charity of your choice Active Bearers: Harvey Cunningham, James Bean, David Rainwater and Orville Hyde
