Jack Eugene Flint of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away February 27, 2023, in El Paso, Texas at the age of 95. He was born October 5, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Ruth Steele Flint. Jack was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He married Mercedes Cretton on July 23, 1955, in Evanston, Illinois and worked for American Airlines. Jack lived in Mountain Home since moving from Palatine, Illinois, in 1988. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, and the Hoevel-Barnett V.F.W. Post #1341. He enjoyed fishing, walking and being outdoors. Recently, he moved to El Paso, Texas to be closer to his daughter.
Jack is survived by Michael (Nancy) Flint, Kathleen (William) Stotler, Carolyn (Larry) Maxwell, Susan (John) Liberatore; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughters, Donna (Alan) Weissman and Diana (Robert) Vetter; and granddaughter, Kelley Prescott.
Visitation will be June 9, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Kevin McReynolds officiating. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
