A Memorial Service for Jackie Eugene Barnes, 55, of Salesville, Arkansas, will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Salesville Bible Church, with Pastor James Johnson officiating.
Jackie died Friday, January 21, 2011 at Salesville. He was born April 3, 1955 in Ripley, Tennessee, the son of Jackie Eugene and Margaret Jane Keltner Barnes Sr. He married Laura Box on June 30, 2008 at Brownsville, Tennessee and worked as a Hazardous Materials Tech for DuPont. Jackie lived in Salesville, Arkansas since 2005 moving from Atoka, Tennessee and was a member of the Salesville Bible Church. He enjoyed hot rods, jet boats, and motorcycles.
Jackie is survived by his wife, Laura Box of Salesville; one daughter, Jenna Brook Barnes of Memphis, TN; one son, Jason Barnes of Covington, TN; one step-daughter, Holly Padgett of Salesville; six grandchildren; his mother, Margaret Barnes of Brownsville, TN; one brother, David (Kate) Barnes of Ft. Worth, TX and one sister, Sandra (Larry) Wakefield of Ripley, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father.
