Jacob Leon Mason

A Funeral Service for Jacob Leon Mason of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, November 6, 2017, at Word of Life Church, with Pastor Greg Ford and Pastor Lee Parnell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of serviced at the church.

Jacob passed away November 1, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born July 4, 1934, in Deering, Missouri, the son of Clen and Dotty Ennis Mason. He married Beverly Haggard on August 21, 1970, in Imperial, Missouri and worked as a farm laborer. Jacob lived in the Mountain Home area since 2001, moving from Harrisburg, Arkansas . He enjoyed farming and started driving a tractor at the age of 9.

Jacob is survived by his wife, Beverly Joyce Mason of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Earl Leon (Pauline) Mason Havens of Holland, TX and Donnie (Melena) Mason of Bangs, TX; two daughters, Donita Preston of Granbury, TX and Loretta Ferguson of Comanche, TX; stepson, Roger O'Brian (Lynn) Harris of Rockwell, NC; son, Robert Clinton Mason of Mountain Home, AR; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Debbie) Mason of Danville, IL; sister, Sally (Gary) Sandy of Mayer, AZ; and brother-in-law, Ron (Nancy) Haggard of Mountain Home, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, Pearl, Alice, Martha and Charlotte and 2 brothers, Curt and J.V.

Memorials may be made to the Bread of Life at the Word of Life Church.
