A Celebration of Life for Jacqueline Faye Becker of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Heather Clawitter officiating.
Jacqueline passed away December 25, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 94. She was born April 26, 1922, in Olathe, Colorado, the daughter of James and Goldie Kirk DeGuelle. She married Sheldon Becker on December 18, 1954, at Warren, New Jersey. She was a nursery school teacher at Berkeley Heights Methodist Church. Jacqueline lived in Mountain Home since 1988, moving from Gillette, New Jersey. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Saints and Sinners Sunday School Class and a volunteer for the Mountain Home Christian Clinic, Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and Friends of the Library.
Jacqueline is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Donald) Koss of Lakeview, AR; son, Richard (Diane) Becker of Jonesboro, AR; three grandchildren, Emily (Christopher) Saito of Fort Smith, AR, Brian (Cary) Koss of Little Rock, AR and Amy (Buddy) Stoermann of Indian Trail, NC; great-grandchildren, Bennett Koss and Owen Stoermann; niece, Patricia Becker Woerner of Annandale, NJ and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, James DeGuelle.
Inurnment will be private in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
