James B Arra

James Benjamin Arra of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away June 15, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born May 19, 1941, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the son of Benjamin and Genevieve Munjoy Arra. He married Sharon Gilbert on April 17, 1988, in Bull Shoals, AR. Jim spent 55 years working as a barber. He lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Michigan in 1985. Jim was a Master Mason with the Yellville, AR Masonic Lodge #117. Jim never worked a day in his life because he spent his days doing what he loved, cutting people's hair and sharing his love of pipes by selling and refurbishing estate pipes.

James is survived by his wife, Sharon Arra of Bull Shoals, AR; son, David (Stacy Broadus) Arra of CO, daughter, Jennifer (Aaron) Snead of MI: daughter-in-law, Tracy Arra of MI; sister, Rose Rader of Fl; grandchildren, Caroline, Jason, Jessica, Ben, Sam, Levi and Jacob and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Rose and son, Brian.

A Memorial Service for James will be 11:00 am, Friday, June 23, 2023, at Bull Shoals United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dr. Charles "Pete" Beevers officiating.
