James Blair

A Gathering of Friends for James Patrick Blair will be Tuesday February 14, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm with a ?Sharing of Memories? at 6:00 pm. James died February 10, 2012, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was 63. James was born July 26, 1948, in Slaton, Texas to James D. and Josette Chauvet Blair. He worked as an Electronic Engineer for Southwestern Bell before retiring to the area he loved, Bull Shoals. James was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He had a way with horses, raising and training them. James will be remembered by friends and family for being a great storyteller. He is survived by his two daughters, Brittany, of AR, and Jennifer, of CO; son, Jared ?Maverick? Blair of NV; father, James D. Blair of TX; nine brothers and sisters, Marie France Respondek, Chantal Respondek, JoAnn Patterson, Jean Blair, Elizabeth Minor, Claude Blair, Kathleen Conger of TX, Paul Blair of WI, and Yvonne Trcalek of LA; two grandchildren, Collin and Chawna; one great-grandchild and locally dear friends, Anna and Dale Forbus and Yoshiko and Marvin Birdsong. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Regina Blair. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals Food Pantry.
