James William Casey was born February 6, 1950, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was the son of Harvey and Flora Waxeilbaum Casey. He married Mona Adkins, December 23, 1982, in Fort Smith and was a truck driver. James William Casey passed away at Baxer Regional Medical Center, February 21, 2006, at the age of 56 years and 15 days. Survivors: His wife of twenty-four years, Mona Casey of Lead Hill, Arkansas; brother-in-law and caregiver, Ponder L. Cousins of Lead Hill, Arkansas; one son, Jeremy Casey of Preston, Connecticut; two brothers, Harvey Casey of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Roy Casey of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three sisters, Cheryl (Billy) Harp of Stigler, Oklahoma, Diane (Joe) Morton of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Betty Frost of Sallisan, Oklahoma; six nieces; and six nephews Preceded in Death by: Stepson, Jay Barber; daughter, Amber Casey; and his parents Funeral: A memorial service for James William Casey, 56, of Lead Hill will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2006, at Oak Cliff Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Fort Smith, Arkansas, with Reverend Phil Whitten officiating.
