A Memorial Service for James Winston Clements. 69, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 10, 2013, at First Baptist Church, with Reverend Tom Sykes, officiating. Jim passed away January 6, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born August 25, 1943, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Joseph and Dorathea Goodson Clements. He married Marjorie Guthrey May 28, 1965, at Jonesboro, AR, and worked as a County Extension Agent for the University of Arkansas. Jim lived in Mountain Home since 2002, moving from Piggott, AR. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed wood carving, fishing and antique farm equipment. Jim is survived by his wife, Marjorie Clements; two sons, James W. Clements, Jr., of Vernon, TX, and John R. Clements, of Fort Smith, AR; daughter, Leigh Ann Gibson, of Little Rock, AR; two brothers, Joseph Clements, of Little Rock, AR, and Hiram M. (Mac) Clements, of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Doris Vinke, of Orland Park, IL, and Susan K. Steckel, of Memphis, TN; and grandson, Jacob Clements, of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery, Corning, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Deacon's Benevolence Fund, 400 Club Blvd, Mountain Home, AR 72653, or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
