A Memorial Service for James Gerald Hagen of Gassville, Arkansas, will be at a later date in Paragould, Arkansas.
Gerald died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 90. He was born March 15, 1921 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the son of Monroe and Josephine Weisenbach Hagen. James Hagen was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He married Vaudene Myer on October 17, 1981 at Paragould, Arkansas and worked assembly for General Motors. He lived in Gassville, Arkansas since 1981 moving from Flint, Michigan.
James is survived by his wife, Vaudene "Dean" Hagen, one son, James K. Hagen of Raton, NM; one step-son, Don Ford of Olive Branch, MS; one step-grandson, Brad (Melissa) Ford; one step-granddaughter, Robin (Nathan) Tyler; three great-grandchildren, Alec Tyler, Zoe Tyler and Bennett Ford and one brother, Larry Hagen of FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Alfred and Edward Hagen and one grandson, Jason Matthew Hagen.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
