James Haught

James Layfette Haught died Saturday, March 29, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 83. James was born Saturday, May 10, 1924 in Hamblin, Texas, son of Horace and Annie Johnson Haught . He married Ruby McCarty on August 11, 1951 at Wichita Falls, TX. and worked in Shipping/Receiving for the University of Nebraska for 20 years. James was a Navy veteran of WWII. James lived in Mountain Home for 17 years moving from Arizona. Survivors: son, Donald Haught (Pat) of Yellville, Arkansas; daughters, Sharon Mathieu of Iowa City, Iowa and Sandy Colburn of California; 5 Grandchildren, A.J. Haught and Colt Hall of Kansas City, Missouri, Wesley Haught, Kansas City, Kansas, Brittany Haught and Eric Hall of Mountain Home and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: parents and wife, Ruby Funeral: Services will be private.
