James passed away March 20, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was born December 6, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Walter and Rose Van Hecke Heidman. He was a retired Lt. Col. for U.S. Army and lived in Mountain Home since 1997, moving from Earlinger, Kentucky. He volunteered at the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
James is survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Geiss of Saint Charles, MO; niece, Amy (Michael) Lucido of St. Charles, MO; nephew, Frank (Holly) Dooling of St. Peters, MO and several extended family members..
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
