James Henry

A Memorial Service for James Victor Henry, 89, of Lakeview, AR will be 10:00 A.M Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Bethel Baptist Church in Lakeview, AR with Pastor Patrick Norris officiating. James Henry died October 16th, 2012. James was born June 13th, 1923 at Mountain Top, PA to Harold and Christine Henry. James served his country in the United States Navy during WWII as a member of the Scouts and Raiders, which later became the Navy Seals. He married Lory Larsen on April 8th, 1990. James was a craftsman in the flooring industry and enjoyed giving gifts of carpet art to friends and family. James was a loving husband and dad; he was hardworking and a wonderful provider. He always had a joke to put a smile on your face. He is survived by wife, Lory, of Lakeview, AR; four sons, Don Bridges (Cheryl) of AZ, Jimmy Henry Jr. (Delores) of MA, Larry Bridges (Michelle) of CA, Jack Branen of Lakeview, AR, and one daughter, Vikki Murray (Dan) of MN; six brothers; one sister; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His parents, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church in Lakeview, Arkansas.
