James Lewis Hussey

James Lewis Hussey, of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away on August 20,2024, at the age of 70. He was born on March 29, 1954, in Portola, California, to the late Richard and Carol Kendall Hussey.

James spent his later years in Gassville, having relocated from Reno, Nevada, in 2019. He attended the Twin Lakes Baptist Church, where he found comfort and community. James had a passion for watching football, which brought him joy throughout his life.

He is survived by his brother, David Lee Hussey of Cotter, Arkansas; his sister, Roberta "Bobbi" Parker of California; and several nieces, nephews, and friends, especially, Michelle. James was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Thomas Hussey; two nephews, Thomas and Richard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Twin Lakes Baptist Church in the coming weeks. Arrangements are being handled by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
