James Lambert, 49 of Bull Shoals, AR, formerly of Braidwood, IL, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at Mountain Home, AR.
Born August 31, 1965 in St. Louis, MO to Walter and Diana Lambert of Herrin, IL. Jimmy first and foremost was committed to his wife and daughter. Jimmy served his country in the US Air Force. He was a member of Order of DeMolay, Cub Scouts and played Little League Baseball. Jimmy loved his music, fishing and was a Chicago Cub fan. He started working at the young age of 13 at the Polk-A-Dot Drive In located in Braidwood, IL on the historic Route 66 which started his love of cooking.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Baumgartener) of Bull Shoals, AR, one daughter Skylar of Herrin, IL, one sister Amy (Jerry) McKenzie of Orlando, FL, one brother Casey Lambert of Herrin, IL, paternal grandparents James and Maxine Lambert of Pontiac, IL, two nieces Stephanie Wheeler of Texarkana, TX, Desiree Wheeler of Martin, TN and two aunts Kathy Webster of Sevierville, TN, Geneva (Don) Wilson of Quilin, MO and one uncle, Buddy Keller of Valley View, TX, along with many cousins.
James was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Pearl and Sam Petrolia, material grandparents Orval and Lea Ward and material grandmother Phyllis Helton.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at McKinley Chapel at Lake of Egypt, IL at a future date.
