James E. Larimore

A Funeral Mass for James Edward Larimore of Clarkridge, Arkansas, will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 24, 2018, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, with Father Norbert Rappold officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Kirby and Family Funeral Home.

James passed away September 20, 2018, in Clarkridge, Arkansas at the age of 82, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 9, 1936, in Blue Island, Illinois, the son of Robert and Mallie Palishen Larimore. He married Joyce Boesche, July 6, 1957, in Melrose Park, IL. He worked as a Truck Driver. James was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. James lived in Clarkridge since moving from Palatine IL, in 1998. He volunteered at Clarkridge Fire Department and was also a member of the Twin Lake's Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting. He also liked to read and was a continuous student of history and loved sharing his knowledge with family, friends and acquaintances. He enjoyed spending time with his family and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

James is survived by his wife, Joycelyn Larimore of Clarkridge, AR, three daughters, Janet Larimore of Champaign, IL, Catherine Larimore of Paxton, IL, Margaret (Gary) Lindstrom of Paxton, IL; son, Robert (Jassive) Larimore of Schaumburg, IL; two brothers, David (Kay) Larimore of Gulf Shores, AL and Larry (Carolyn) Larimore of Palatine, IL; eight grandsons, Scott, Eric, Ryan, Blake, Kyle, Michael, Thomas, Justin, four great-grand children; April, Evan, Owen, and Gulieanna; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Larimore and sister, Mary Kathryn Reeves.

Pallbearers will be Robert Larimore, Scott Shell, Eric Shell, Ryan Larimore, Kyle DuBois, Blake DuBois, Austin and Daniel Eggersdorf.
