James R. Lavigna, 69, formerly of Reading, passed away in the Hospice House of the Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mt. Home, AR, April 13, 2011.
He was born in West Reading to the late Anthony P. and Lena (Sorrentino) Lavigna
on June 8, 1941.
He graduated from the former West Reading High School and from 1959-1961 served in the U.S. Navy.
James was predeceased by his son, Andre P. Lavigna, and a sister, Jacqueline M. (Lavigna) Flickinger.
He is survived by a brother, Charles A. Lavigna, a sister, Carol A. (Lavigna) Jackson, six nieces and nephews, and the mother of Andre, Lise (Tardif) Reppert.
The Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services of Mt. Home, AR, is in charge of arrangements.
Services will take place at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
