James Lowery died in Mountain Home, Arkansas on May 5, 2007. He was born July 20, 1926 at Moulton, Alabama to Thomas and Realie Bailey Lowery. He married Delora Cole on January 2, 1947 and was an auto body repairman. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. James was a member of the Church of God and had been a resident of Flippin since 1981, moving from the Houston, Texas area. He was a member of the VFW. Survivors: his wife; Delora Lowery of Flippin, Arkansas three sons Charles Lowery of Las Vegas, Nevada, Vernon Lee (Sarah) Lowery of Phelan, California and Jimmy Ray (Lori) Lowery of Willis, Texas and Special friend Sharron Schutte of Mountain Home, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: Parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters Visitation: 9:00 to 10:00 am Wednesday at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral: Funeral services will be 10:00 am at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services for James V. Lowery, 80, of Flippin, Arkansas, formerly of Columbus will be at 1:00 P.M.
