James McKee

James D McKee of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away November 7, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. He was born December 9, 1929, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Donald and Marjorie Taylor McKee. He married Carol on November 19, 1950, in Sewal, Iowa and was an auditor for Farm Credit Banking in the 7th District. James lived in Mountain Home since moving from Maplewood, Minnesota in 1990. He was a member of the Mountain Home Elks Lodge #1714 BPOE and the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home. He enjoyed bowling.

James is survived by his wife, Carol McKee of Mountain Home, AR; son, Brian McKee of Woodbury, MN; daughter, Melanie (Warren) Cook of Sidney, OH; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Allen, Phillip, John, Valerie, and Jacob; and four great-grandchildren, Aliyah, Rebecca, Nicholas, and Corbin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald McKee.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service for James will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home.
