James Wayne “Jim” Miller, 76, of Flippin passed away August 7, 2017. He was born May 2, 1941 in Pomona, California. Jim loved spending time with friends and family, fixing things around his house and yard, watching sports, and sharing his favorite stories from the good old days. After moving to Flippin from San Diego in 1981, he became the owner and proprietor of Miller’s Citgo on Highway 62, where he enjoyed changing oil, fixing flats, pumping gas, and catching up on the lives of his loyal customers for twenty-five years. He was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church.
Jim is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Janice Miller of Flippin; son Jeff Miller (wife, LaRea) of Lake Elsinore, CA; daughter Kelli Ward (husband, Steve) of Conway, AR; grandchildren Wesley & Auston Miller and Brynn & Will Ward; brother Larry Miller (wife, Evelyn) of Midway; sister Kathy Torres (husband, Pete) of Lake Havasu, AZ. step-daughter Ronette Eubanks (husband, Dewayne) of Cotter; step-daughter Robin Mills (husband, Greg) of Lakeside, CA; granddaughter Trisha Bridge of OK; granddaughter Tanya Boise of OK; grandsons Jason Mills and Kyle Mills of CA; 6 great grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
A service will be held at Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas on Sunday August 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
