A Graveside Service for James Garland "Crash" Miller of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 1:00 pm, Friday, October 11, 2019, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and the United States Army Honor Guards. A Celebration of Life will follow at the V.F.W. Post #3246, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
James passed away October 5, 2019, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 70. He was born June 3, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of James Raymond and Dixie Lou Crouch Miller. He married Dawn Johnson on December 20, 2004, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and worked as an over the road trucker. James was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. James lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Grand Forks, North Dakota in 2012. He enjoyed motorcycle riding. He was a life member of the DAV and the VFW.
James is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Miller of Bull Shoals, AR; son, Dakota Johnson of Owatonna, MN and two sisters, Debbie Lou (Frank) Mack of West Columbia, SC and Ginger (Larry) Poole of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by many of his In-Country Vietnam Motorcycle Club Brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
