James Rhoads

Funeral services for James "Keith" Rhoads of Gassville will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lee Parnell officiating. Mr. Rhoads died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, in Mountain Home. He was 46. Mr. Rhoads was born July 16, 1960, at Blytheville, Arkansas, to Benjamin "Pete" and Gladys Grant Rhoads. He married Jackie Coplen on May 23, 1987, at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Cotter, Arkansas. He was a project engineer at Epoxyn and had been employed there for the past 18 years. Mr. Rhoades lived in Blytheville before moving to Henderson in 1972. He was of the Assembly of God faith. He loved the outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, photography, painting, and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all that knew him. Keith Rhoads is survived by his wife, Jackie Rhoads of the home; son Trevor Rhoads and daughter Lacey Rhoads, both of the home; his mother Gladys Rhoads of Harrison; one brother Benny (Sheila) Rhoads of Nixa, Missouri; five sisters, Delcie (Allen) Woelbing of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; Wanda Sanders of Mountain Home; Linda Miller of Harrison, Arkansas; Sue (Del) Seay of Harrison, Arkansas; Pam (Mike) Martin of Harrison, Arkansas; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin "Pete" Franklin Rhoads, Jr. Burial will be in Gassville City Cemetery with Brandon Cook, Dennis Lamb, Scott Stephens, Steve Hammontree, Larry Tucker, Dale Hall, Robert Elam, and Bernie Cockrum as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Woelbing, Mike Martin, Del Seay, Darrell Sanders, Jeff Miller, Allen Woelbing, and Terry Lally. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
