Funeral Services for James "Jim" Clayborn Rickman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:30 PM Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Twin Lakes Baptist Church, with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Jim died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at his residence, at the age of 73. He was born August 8, 1937 in Pampa, Texas, the son of Clay and Ada Penland Rickman. He married Louetta Gossett Fraser on April 27, 1986 at San Jose, California and worked as a salesman. Jim was very patriotic and a U.S. Army veteran of the 101st Air Borne and Military Police. Jim lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1978 moving from San Jose, California. He was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church, a proud sponsor of the NRA and loved the lakes and his boat. Jim is survived by his wife, Louetta of the home, 2 daughters, Dawn (Terry) Braddick of Roseville, CA and Dana (Jimmy) Staley of Livermore, CA; 3 sisters, Delma (Bob) Craig of Roswell, NM Joyce Peasley of Placentia, CA and Clayda (David) Parramore of Cedar Hill, TX; cousin, Maxine Fox of Aromas, CA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, John Fraser and sister, Alice Rickman. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Benjamin, Andrew and Joseph Bailey, Robert White, Joe Leatherbarrow and Kevin Hedgepeth as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Staley, Merle Martin, Johnny Kambridge and Don Landucci. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.
