James Allen Rogers

A memorial service for James Allen Rogers of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held at a later date at City On A Hill Church in Mountain Home with Pastor Barry Lagg and Bill Pittman officiating. His procession will be escorted from Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ball, Louisiana by the Iron Horse Disciples Motorcycle Ministry of Mountain Home, Arkansas, following the memorial service.

Allen passed away at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, on April 6, 2020, at the age of 61. He was born on December 17, 1958 in Alexandria, Louisiana, the son of James B. Rogers and Doris Marie Rogers. He married Cindy O'Leary Rogers on December 19, 1998, in Pollock, Louisiana, and worked as a over the road truck driver. Allen lived in Mountain Home since May 2000, moving from Alexandria, Louisiana. Allen also worked on the Buford Volunteer Fire Department, and Mountain Home public schools as a bus driver after retiring in 2012 from 34 years of over the road truck driving accident free. He spent most of his time as a caretaker of his life long friend's horse ranch in the Buford area of Mountain Home.

Allen is survived by his two sons, Justin Rogers of Mountain Home, AR and Travis Rogers of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Jamie Tillman of Topeka, KS; daughter-in-law, Kelsie Rogers of Mountain Home, AR; three grandchildren of Mountain Home, AR; three grandchildren of Topeka, KS; sister, Vivian Hallsworth of Alexandria, LA; brother, Roy Rogers of Alexandria, LA; brother-in-law, Al Hallsworth of Alexandria, LA; sister-in-law, Bobbie Rogers of Alexandria, LA; cousin, Dewey Grantham of Vidor, TX; and niece, Alexa Hallsworth of Alexandria, LA.

Allen was proceeded in death by his wife, Cindy O'Leary Rogers; mother, Doris Marie Rogers; and father, James B. Rogers.
