James Srbeny was born in Karlin, Michigan on September 6, 1919. He was the son of Anton and Mary Srbeny. He married Josephine Bator in Chicago, Illinois on May 11, 1946. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was employed as an electrician with Exelon for forty-three years. Mr. Srbeny was a member of Ozark V.F.W. post 3246, the American Legion and Electrical Workers Benefit Association. Mr. and Mrs. Srbeny moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Glendale Heights, Illinois, in 1980. He was a member of the Catholic Church of Saint Peter the Fisherman. James Srbeny passed away at his residence on April 26, 2005, at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 20 days. Survivors: Wife of fifty-nine years, Josephine Srbeny of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter, Karen (John) Langner of Woodstock, Illinois; grandchildren, Samantha Langner and Jenifer Langner; and two nieces Preceded in Death by: Parents, three brothers and four sisters Visitation: Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, April 26, 9:00 until service time Funeral: Funeral Mass will be at the Catholic Church of Saint Peter the Fisherman on Saturday, April 30, 2005, at 10 a.m. Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum with Military Honors by North Central Arkansas Veterans Council, Honor Guard by Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Active Bearers: John Langner, George Langner, Ronald Kalba, Herbert Biasella, Rex Bell, and Ralph Roltez
