James Srbeny was born in Karlin, Michigan on September 6, 1919. He was the son of Anton and Mary Srbeny. He married Josephine Bator in Chicago, Illinois on May 11, 1946. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was employed as an electrician with Exelon for forty-three years. Mr. Srbeny was a member of Ozark V.F.W. post 3246, the American Legion and Electrical Workers Benefit Association. Mr. and Mrs. Srbeny moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Glendale Heights, Illinois, in 1980. He was a member of the Catholic Church of Saint Peter the Fisherman. James Srbeny passed away at his residence on April 26, 2005, at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 20 days.
