James Suttles

A Celebration of Life for James Edward "Jim" Suttles of Lakeview, Arkansas will 10:30AM, Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Pastor Dave Mattson officiating. Jim passed away at his home November 7, 2012. Jim was born March 4, 1933, at Sicily Island, LA to Cecil and Willie Newsom Suttles. He married Barbara Anderson November 7, 1994, at Hot Springs, AR. Jim was a United States Army Veteran. He worked as a manager for Sun Oil Company. Jim moved to Lakeview, AR in 1998 from Dallas. TX. He was an avid college sports fan who loved to watch both football and basketball. Jim was a member of Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church. Jim is survived by his wife, Barbara of Lakeview, AR; one son, Doug Suttles (Christy), two daughters, Pam Suttles (John) of Piedmont, OK and Tanya Suttles of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren, Laura and Tom Suttles; brother-in-law, John Beck of Houston, TX and canine friend, Oliver. His parents preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Institute For Cancer Research. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
