A Funeral Service for James Ronald Wilcks of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Twin Lakes Baptist Church, with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guard.
James passed away May 12, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born March 2, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William and Irene Lester Wilcks. He married Patricia Albright on November 22, 1956, at Edison Park, Illinois and worked as a Printer, Policeman and Maintenance Man. James was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and lived in Mountain Home since 1990, moving from Crystal Lake, Illinois. He was a member of the Twin Lakes Baptist Church and Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
James is survived by his wife, Patricia Wilcks of Mountain Home, AR; son, Jim Wilcks of Streamwood, IL; two daughters, Debbie (Don) Kuball of Carol Stream, IL and Connie (Ken) Smith of Lake In The Hills, IL; four grandchildren, Danielle (Ryan) Johnson, Ericka Willerschidt, Ken and Brianna Smith and two great-grandchildren, Owen and Raylan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gregg and brother, Jerry.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
