A memorial service for James Wiltshire of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Allen-White American Legion Post #52 and United States Army Honor Guards.
James passed away February 13, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 77. He was born September 10, 1938, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the son of James Stanley and Gladys Elizabeth Bell Wiltshire. James was a U.S. Army veteran and has lived in Gassville since moving from California in 1993. He attended the Cowboy Church in Flippin and enjoyed fishing and traveling.
James is survived by his daughter, Heather Wiltshire of Lancaster, CA; sister, Elizabeth Anne Wiltshire of Gassville, AR; and two grandchildren, Chance and Cody Edwards of Lancaster, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Paul Thomas, Donald Craig, and Peter Wayne; his girlfriend, Shirley Theiker; and his dog, Molly.
Burial will be in the Gassville Cemetery, Gassville, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the Shriners.
