Jane Marie Farley, age 57, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at her home.
Jane Farley was born May 14, 1960 in Tucson, Arizona. She was the daughter of the late Marie Hudson Walters and Andrew Jon Walters, Jr.
She is survived by her children McKenzie Marie Duckert (Douglas) of Millington, Tennessee and Cale Howk of Mountain Home, Arkansas. In addition, she leaves her most adoring grandchildren Oliver and Olivia Duckert of Millington, Tennessee. Jane is also survived by her brother Andrew Jon Walters III (Ann) of Dumas, Arkansas; two sisters, Joan Walters Vickers of Yellville, Arkansas and Judy Walters Blagg (Michael) of Birmingham, Alabama; and her nieces and nephews Andrew Walters (Kayla) of Houston, Texas, Kathleen Walters Puryear (Calvin), of Dumas, Arkansas, Weston Vickers and Katherine Vickers, of Yellville, Arkansas, McKinley Blagg (Kayla) and Brandon Blagg (Lindsey) of Birmingham, Alabama.
Jane spent the majority of her childhood and teenage years growing up in Helena, Arkansas where she was blessed with many lifelong friends. She was a 1979 graduate of Dumas High School and a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She received her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas with honors. Jane maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA her entire educational curriculum.
Her work was her passion and her drive. She never stopped excelling. Drs. Knox, Rauls and McConnell and their clinics were family to her. Each of them played a role in making her job challenging and enjoyable, which is what gave her the drive and spunk to “kick it” everyday.
The love, kindness and joy of Jane could not be contained. She was a friend to everyone she met, always willing to help anyone with anything and truly an asset to all those around her. Becoming a grandmother was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her love for Oliver and Olivia knew no bounds and her face could not hold back her excitement when she spoke of them. She was so very proud of her children, McKenzie and Cale and all of their accomplishments. Her happiest place was never far away, just out her backdoor, out on the lake with her family.
Entombment will be at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Serving as pallbearers are Weston Vickers, McKinley Blagg, Layton Lee, Isaac Lee, Dominic Byrd and John Hilvert. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Tom Knox, Dr. Russ Rauls, Dr. Jason McConnell and the staff and the Knox Orthopedics.
