A Memorial Service for Janet E. Krieger of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Pastor John Easterling officiating.
Janet passed into paradise on November 22, 2016. She was born February 27, 1920, to William and Mary Jende in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She was the oldest, and preceded in death by her immediate family, brother, Jerry Jende and sister, Dorothy Gromacki. Her husband, whom she was married to for 56 years, Donald Robert Krieger preceded her in 1995. She had three children, James Jeffery Krieger of Mountain Home, AR, William Robert Krieger (Barbara Ann) of Glendale, WI and Barbara Jean Bremer of Mountain Home, Arkansas. There are six grand-children, Jeremy, Benjamin, Ryan, Michael, Anne and Stephanie and of course the five great-grandchildren including one on the way. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church for many many years and a resident of Elmcroft assisted living for the past two years. She played piano as a young adult and then continued to play the organ. Card playing was her favorite hobby especially cribbage and bridge. She was a very compassionate animal lover and "loved Arkansas", where she began in Bull Shoals in 1974. She was known by all as the "sweetest person".
Burial will be in the Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Hospice of the Ozarks.
