Janice Ann Newman

A Funeral Service for Janice Ann Newman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with William Wood officiating. A Graveside Service will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Galatia Cemetery.

Janice passed away December 21, 2016, in Summit, Arkansas at the age of 62. She was born December 8, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of George and Bessie Tuvell Holzscheiter. She married Darrell Newman on November 26, 1984 at Mountain Home, Arkansas and worked as a restaurant cook. Janice lived in Mountain Home since 1984 and enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and animals.

Janice is survived by her husband, Darrell Newman of Mountain Home, AR; four children, Michelle Parker of Mountain Home, AR, Donnie (Marsha) Dickerson of Gassville, AR, Amanda (James) Gadberry of Mountain Home, AR and Delma Daisy Newman of Mountain Home, AR; several grandchildren; sister, Joyce (John) Schulte and special friends, Becky Parton, Wanda Smith and Brenda McDonald.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Dickerson.
