Jay Strauch

Jay John Strauch, 91, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Jay was born on June 21, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jacob and Ann Schuck Strauch. Jay served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Geraldine on September 27, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois. He was an electrical engineer. He was an avid swimmer.

Jay is survived by his wife, Geraldine Strauch of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Craig (Allyson) Strauch of Springfield, IL, and Scott (Wanda) Strauch of Rogers, AR; three grandchildren, Blake (Diana) Strauch, Heath (Lyndi) Strauch, and Dawson Strauch; and one great-granddaughter, Everdean.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and all of his siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022, at 10:00 am at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Don Pavlik officiating. Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Memorial donations may be made in Jay's name to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
