A Memorial Mass for Jean Virginia Bergman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 22, 2011, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Stan Swiderski as Celebrant.
Jean passed away December 19, 2011, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 93. She was born in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Adella Zesalinski Winslow. She married George Bergman on October 17, 1942, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as head cashier for the Wheaton Court House. Jean lived in Mountain Home from 1966 to 1986 moving from Glenn Ellen, Illinois. She then moved to Wheaton and returned to Mountain Home in 2001. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and enjoyed baking, sewing and cooking.
Jean Bergman is survived by 2 daughters, Therese Magnuson of Peachtree City, GA and Joyce (William) Brynildssen of Mountain Home, AR; sister, Gerri (Richard) Miller of, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Diane Oakland, Laura Gillette, Andrew Magnusen, Dan Bergman and Paul Bergman; 5 great-grandchildren, Aprille Hanson, Anthony Gillette, Bryan Bergman, Nathan Bergman and Dylan Bergman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Charles Bergman; brother, Joseph Winslow, Jr. and 2 sisters, Mildred and Helen.
