Jean Ellen "Jenny" Dew of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away November 21, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. She was born August 24, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Max and Jean Cormack Nusch. She married Leon "Buzzy" Dew on April 30, 1967, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Jenny lived in Mountain Home since moving from Chicago, Illinois, in 1950. She was an avid volunteer with the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, and her dogs and going RV-ing. When she was younger, she loved to spend time at the lake, swimming. She was a super-fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and Oklahoma Sooners.
Jenny is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Adam) Dew of Mountain Home, AR; two grandchildren, Megan and Gaige Chaney; sister, Nita (Herby) Swearingen of Mountain Home, AR; nieces and nephews, Tyler (Crystal) Swearingen, Stuart (Leah) Swearingen, and Shelley Floyd; and great-nieces, Monroe, Colbie, and Jeannie; and brother-in-law, Mervin Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buzzy Dew; daughter, Debra Renee Chaney; and sister, Carol Nusch.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 28, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Monday, November 29, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with her nephews, Erbey and Phillip Gomez officiating. Burial will be in the Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
Memorials may be made to Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation or the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
