Jean Douglas

Jean Douglas passed Monday, June 30, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 64. Jean was born Friday, November 5, 1943 in Chicago, IL, daughter of Robert and Marvis Lenard Wedge. She married Donald Douglas on April 4, 1975 at Morton Grove, IL. She owned Timberlane Pet Motel in Mountain Home for 27 years where she worked as a dog groomer and trainer. She lived in Mountain Home for 29 years moving from Wheeling, IL. She was a member of the Board of Directors - Humane Society of North Central Arkansas. Survivors: Jean Douglas is survived by her husband, Donald Douglas of Mountain Home and sister, Kathy (Vince) Nuccio of Chicago, IL, brother, Michael (Colleen) Wedge, uncle, Gerry (Peg) Lenard of Lakeview, AR, and Quinn, her Aussie. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral: A memorial service for Jean Douglas of Mountain Home, AR, will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Calvary Bible Church, 950 Hwy 178 W., Midway, AR, with Pastor Roy Crane officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
