Graveside Services for Jean H. Merrell, 89, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Monday, February 3, 2014, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, with Jimmy Moore officiating.
Jean passed away January 29, 2014, in Mountain Home. She was born June 14, 1924, in Ash Flat, Arkansas, the daughter of Homer and Willie Nickels. She married Bobbie Merrell on January 29, 1959 and was a restaurant manager. Jean lived in Mountain Home since 1988, moving from Cherokee Village, Arkansas. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking.
Jean is survived by her husband, Bobbie Merrell of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Mack (Norma) Nickels of Ash Flat, AR and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
