A Celebration of life for Jean Skutt of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 3PM Tuesday, July 24 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Heather Marsalis as Celebrant.
Anyone who knew Jean knew she loved to dance and her last dance was on June 28, 2018, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 92. She was born November 15, 1925, in Jamesburg, New Jersey, the daughter of Frank and Antoinette Capoletta Pitro. Jean worked in a parachute factory during WWII. After the war ended she worked as a waitress and over the years worked her way up to being the manager of a fine restaurant, The Coach and Four in Hightstown, NJ. Jean had lived in Bull Shoals since moving from California, in 1997 and she fell in love with the people of this area. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, knitting and crocheting.
Jean is survived by her sons, Ron (Kim) Redmond of Moorpark, CA, Bob (Sybil Redmond-Jacobs) Redmond of Flippin, AR, and Richard (Rebecca) Skutt of Long Beach, CA; daughter, Kathy Redmond of Flippin, AR; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and husband, Galen Skutt.
Entombment will be in the Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake, CA.
Memorials may be made to an Alzheimer's Organization.
