Jeanne Deis

Jeanne Marie Deis of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away May 8, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 75. She was born October 9, 1946, in Eagle River, Wisconsin, the daughter of William Morgan and Audrey Marie (Selle) Morgan. She married her late husband, Dennis Deis on July 24th, 1971 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and they spent 50 wonderful years together before he passed away February 11th. Jeanne lived in Mountain Home since retiring. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Vega Chapter) and Worthy Matron of O.E.S. chapter 202. She enjoyed reading, fishing, and weaving and loved her pet cats and dogs.

Jeanne is survived by her brother, James (Mary King) Morgan of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters-in-law, Diana (Greg) Avila Johns, June Collins, brothers-in-law Thomas Deis and Dale Deis; nephews and nieces Morris Cornell-Morgan, Heather Garrison, Patrick (Barb) Collins, Timothy (Tina) Collins, Michelle (Patrick) Winter, Jessica (Heather) Roades, Elizabeth Lane, and thirteen great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Harold Deis; sister Merrie Lee Morgan and brother Robert Edward Morgan, and niece Melody Morgan.

Interment will take place at Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan, WI, and a joint memorial service for Jeanne and her husband Dennis will take place in Milwaukee in July. Contact jedziah02@yahoo.com for details.
