Jeremy Bratton

Jeremy Phillip Bratton, 44, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on December 2,2024. Born on March 14, 1980, Munster, Indiana, he was the son of Timothy and Jane Dibblee Bratton. Jeremy was a dedicated individual who touched many lives through his selfless service. He graduated from Ocala Bible College in Washington and spent six months as a missionary in Uganda. His passion for helping others led him to make several mission trips to the Davis Lars Children’s Home in Brazil, and he contributed to the community by working at the Whitlow School for troubled youth in northern California. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, he generously delivered essential supplies to the hardest-hit areas of New Orleans. He also spent time working at a dude ranch in Colorado.

In 2021, Jeremy moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas, from Florida, where he continued his commitment to service by most recently working at Mountain Home High School. Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling and was especially fond of helping children and going wherever he felt he could make a difference.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Timothy and Jane Bratton of Mountain Home, AR; and his three brothers: Jacob Bratton, Justin (Joanne) Bratton, and Joel (Pamela) Bratton, all residing in Mountain Home, AR. He will be remembered fondly by his niece, Julia, and his three nephews, Joseph, Dyrk, and Tate. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Josephine Dibblee and Harold and Christine Bratton, as well as his great-uncle, Ed Donovan.

A Celebration of Life for Jeremy will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at East Side Baptist Church, with Pastor Scott Speer and Reverend Jerry Backus officiating. Jeremy's compassionate spirit and dedication to helping others will always be cherished. Arrangements are entrusted to Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
