A Celebration of Life for Gerald D. ?Jerry? Diebolt Bryant of Bull Shoals, Arkansas will be 1PM July 2, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR. Jerry died June 28, 2010. He was 73 years old.
Jerry was born September 29, 1936 at St. Louis, Missouri to Russell and Katherine Diebolt Bryant. He worked as a manufacture?s representative and consultant in the industrial tool industry. Jerry owned General Tool and Supply Co. in Mountain Home, AR and was a National Sales Manager for CDC Valve Company in Kansas City, MO. Jerry moved to Bull Shoals in 1999 from Kansas City, Missouri. He knew how to have fun in life. Jerry was an avid pilot, loved to be out fishing on the lake and the river and traveled all over the country on his motorcycle. He was an accomplished auto mechanic and left college to try his hand at stock car racing. Jerry was a Missouri State ping-pong champion and a World Champion in Aerial Fighter Model Airplanes.
He is survived by four sons; Richard Bryant (Brenda) of Platte City, MO, Joseph Bryant of Elizabeth, AR, Thomas Bryant of Cotter, AR, and Michael Bryant of NY; two daughters; Jean Bryant of St. Louis, MO and Jeanie Perry of Branson, MO; one sister, Mary Nolan (Mike) of Chicago, Il; nieces, Katie and Christy Nolan of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Reva Seers (Doug) of Perryville, MO, Rory Richeson, of St. Louis, MO, Ross Richeson of St. Louis, MO, Danielle Bryant of Plattsburg, MO, Daniel Bryant, of St. Louis, MO and Brise Perry of Branson, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Youth Ranch.
