Jerry Ray Chandler of Clarkridge, Arkansas, passed away September 7, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76. He was born March 8, 1945, in Clarkridge, Arkansas, the son of Roscoe and Annes (Thompson) Chandler. He married Helen (Fitzpatrick) Chandler on October 10, 1969 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and worked as a Boiler Operator for Baxter Health until he retired. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran. Jerry was a man of many talents. He loved spending time outdoors especially fishing and bird watching. But what he loved most was his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. Jerry was a kind-hearted, loving man, and a hero to his entire family. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Helen Chandler of Clarkridge, Arkansas; son, Billy (LaDonna) Chandler of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter, Pamela (Bobby) Belt of Clarkridge, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, and Ryan Chandler, and Emily and Ella Belt; two brothers; one sister; one sister-in-law; a host of Fitzpatrick family members in Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2021, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service for Jerry will be 10:00 am, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Quality Ridge Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
