Jerry Elbert Hopkins

Jerry Elbert Hopkins of Cotter, Arkansas, passed away March 12, 2022, in Cotter, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born September 22, 1938, in El Dorado, Arkansas, the son of William Elbert and Ruth Martha Williams Hopkins. Jerry was a U.S. Navy veteran He married Martha Brown on January 20, 1973, in Little Rock, Arkansas and worked in shipping and receiving. Jerry lived in Cotter since moving from Little Rock, to be closer to his son. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #9095 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and watching Arkansas Razorback Football.

Jerry is survived by his son, Gerald Hopkins of Cotter, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

A Graveside Funeral for Jerry will be 12:00 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, Arkansas, with Military Honors provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
